I pride myself with opening the

first Pilates Studio in Stafford County

utilizing 'state of the art'

 studio Pilates Reformer

equipment as well as Mat with

Rings and Rollers. I am also

committed in providing dynamic

programming that brings fitness in

a fun, innovating way.

Due to the economic climate

the studio officially closed

in the summer of 2008.

However the Pilates still lives

on in Stafford.

I continue my commitment to Pilates

by training privately

in my home with all of my

'state of the art' equipment.

                        Pilates Performer™

Pilates is a conditioning program that provides simultaneous stretching and strengthening of the deep abdominal and back muscles, that builds trim, toned bodies.

Developed in 1926 by Joseph Pilates,

The Pilates Method is a non-impact technique incorporating six principles: CONCENTRATION, CONTROL, CENTERING, FLOW, PRECISION and BREATH.

T the most renowned of all Pilates equipment is the Reformer.

With its sophisticated system of springs, straps and pulleys, more than 100 exercises can be performed on this surprisingly versatile apparatus.

The basis is in the gliding platform on which one can sit, kneel, stand or lie on their front, back or side.

The Pilates Reformer helps one establish torso stability and postural alignment while working peripheral limbs in a range of motion. It makes for an effective, no-impact stretching and toning workout that is friendly to the joints.

Don't be surprised if some beginner Reformer exercises seem simple - a relaxing, almost effortless glide back and forth on the carriage with none of that overexertion sensation you get from pumping iron. The effects go deep, and you'll engage muscles you never knew you had. As you progress, the fitness challenge becomes significantly greater.

The Reformer is a fixture in Pilates studios and is incorporated into most personal Pilates training sessions. It is also becoming a key component to many rehabilitation clinics, as more and more professionals such as physical therapists, chiropractors and osteopaths embrace the Pilates approach as complementary to their specialties. Many spas, health clubs, fitness facilities and athletic training gyms are providing group Reformer classes for their clientele.

 1. Doctors written consent may be required prior to 1st session.

2. Identify All challenges to trainer prior to 1st session in writing on registration form.

3. Wear comfortable form fitting clothing and optional-non slip yoga socks.

4. A session are 50 minutes in length and end exactly in that timeframe.

5. Cancellations can be made 24 in advance without penalty. After that time the charge of session will be deducted.

In fact, many athletes (skiers, skaters, football, basketball, tennis players, etc) have used Pilates for years to rehabilitate injuries and increase flexibility while also strengthening muscles. The Pilates method is perfect for any audience because it is a non-impact, balanced system that works as well for the very fit individual as it does for the injured and older population. ...
